Week 7 Reflection

I have not finished my static image. But I was really pleased with the front cover and the sword on the inside.
I cleaned Lachlan's tote tray for him.
I worked really hard on my filling in my weekly plan each week.
Next week my goal is to complete my static image.
I have finished 6 books on my pizza wheel.

Doug Goes For A Walk

“Hmmmm..?” I wonder what I should do today, thought Doug the sheep. I could go to the farm and hang out with Jim and Tim, but I do that everyday and I want a change. I think I might go for a walk and let my feet take me somewhere more exciting.

So Doug set off on his adventure. He first went to Taihape. While he was passing through he noticed a big gumboot. On top of it was Richie Mccaw. By this stage Doug was feeling quite tired.

“Hi Richie!” he called out.

“Hi Doug” Said Ritchie

“I'm really tired I don't think I can go on.”

“Don't stop believing!” sang Richie

Doug couldn't help but laugh hearing Richie Mccaw sing. So Doug set off again. He went to Ohakune to the big carrot where he saw Sonny Bill Williams leaning on it.

Doug said “Hi Sonny I’m Doug”,

“Hi Doug” Said Sonny.

“I can never finish this walk” Doug told Sonny. So Sonny sang “never say never!”.

Doug wondered why everyone was singing today.

Next stop was Taupo where the big bike and trout were. Jonah Lomu was riding the big bike. Doug said “Hello i'm Doug, are you a ghost?”

“No I’m a zombie” replied Jonah.

“Oh, well I'm going for a walk and it's too hard so I give up.” Don't give up no no no.”  Sang Jonah Lomu,

“This is getting a bit weird,” thought Doug!

So Doug kept walking to the trout where Shaun Johnson was standing with his fishing rod. Shaun called out “Hey Doug How are you.”

Doug replied “not good this walk is really hard”.

Shaun said to Doug “tough situations build strong people” finally thought Doug, someone who doesn't sing.

“Dont worry be happy” sang Shaun as Doug left.

Doug kept on walking and thought about the things that people had sung to him and he thought.

Wow they are really bad singers, but they all had a good message.

Then he arrived at Tirau.

This time it was Nehe Milner Skudder by the Big Sheep and Sheepdog. This was Doug's final stop.

Doug said to him “Hi Nehe, you're my favourite player but I'm all sweaty and smelly to meet you”.

Nehe started singing to Doug “you're beautiful just the way you are!”

Doug had finished his hike and he was happy. He had learnt not to give up and then he would reach his goals.

Doug knew now that you can not succeed if you don't try.

I woke up with a fright, the chills told me something was wrong...

Joel was not on the roof; Where was he? I went outside to check the roof but he was in the garden dead. OH NO! If I hadn't got angry with him and if I hadn't put him on the roof if i hadn't lit the fire to burn his tosh then he wouldn't have rolled off the roof and died. "Hi Bobby", I can still hear that annoying voice of his. "Bobby! I'm still alive" (Bobby thought that Joel had turned into a zombie but Joel had just got down off the roof and was walking inside but he fell asleep in the garden). "That's exactly what a zombie would say".
